“We would like to remind everybody that on June 9th, the East section of Siesta Key Beach will be designated as a ‘Clothing optional’ beach from 6am to 9pm,” reads last Monday’s Facebook post from an account called “Sarasota County.” “Please plan your beach days accordingly and have a great week!”
Of course, this isn’t true. It’s from a satire Facebook page called “Sarasota County”. I mean, it looks legit from the name but the page is pretty clearly marked in it’s description: Your #1 source for *REAL current events in Sarasota and surrounding areas.
