#HMBlog: Andrew Tate lands in Florida after getting the boot from Romanian jail
TAMPA, Fla. — Andrew Tate, the self-proclaimed "Top G" has jetted off to Florida after Romania finally said, “Eh, we’re tired of you,” and lifted his travel ban. The influencer, who’s facing charges of human trafficking, underage shenanigans, and rape back in Bucharest, packed his bags and his brother Tristan—his loyal sidekick and fellow defendant for a sunny escape to the Sunshine State, according to NBC News.
…and you thought the tourists were bad.
Andrew and Tristan, who’ve denied all allegations with the energy of a toddler swearing they didn’t eat the cookies, are in Florida for totally unrelated reasons—like a defamation lawsuit they filed in Palm Beach County. Their lawyer swears their arrival on the same day as the court hearing is just a hilarious cosmic coincidence.
Romania’s anti-crime squad, DIICOT, shrugged to the AP on Thursday, admitting they’d loosened the Tates’ leash but refusing to say why. Meanwhile, Andrew, 38, a former kickboxer turned X-tra loud right-wing influencer with 10 million followers, keeps screaming that Romania’s got no evidence and it’s all a grand plot to mute his golden vocal cords. He and Tristan, 36, are also huge Trump fanboys—probably hoping Donnie will swoop in with a pardon on a golden golf cart.
Governor Ron DeSantis went on to say that Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier is looking into what the state of Florida can do on their end.
“The reality is, no, Florida is not a place where you’re welcome with that type of conduct,” DeSantis said.

Tampa, FL - Gov. Ron DeSantis announced today in Tampa his own version of DOGE, the newly created Department of Government Efficiency spearheaded my Elon Musk in the Trump Administration. DeSantis announcing he’s axing 70 state boards and commissions, of course, since he has a R by him name, half the population thinks this is a bad thing.
Democratic State Rep. Anna Eskamani released the following statement about Florida DOGE:
"Let's be clear: the Republican Party has dominated our state government for nearly 30 years, and any inefficiencies are a direct result of their long-standing mismanagement. It's laughable that after decades in power, they now pretend to know how to fix what they themselves have broken. This is the same Governor who has squandered millions defending unconstitutional laws, inflated his budget with unnecessary election police forces, and funneled taxpayer dollars into partisan electioneering. He has no credibility when it comes to improving government efficiency.
Cutting 740 state jobs—especially those that engage with the public, safeguard our health, and hold corporations accountable—is not reform; it's a reckless dismantling of essential services. Emulating the disorder seen in federal mismanagement under figures like Elon Musk is not only misguided but dangerous for our state's future. I call on our Governor and our legislative colleagues to stop creating more problems and instead focus on real solutions for the challenges our state faces."
Blah, blah, blah, you know the drill. It’s actually a GOOD thing we have unelected bureaucrats making policy and eating up tax payer money with unnecessary positions. I swear, it’s exhausting. See the announcement below:
#HMB 277 - Florida Potheads Rejoice & Being Petty
This week I had a few new developments on last weeks show when we discussed The Most Hated Man in St. Pete: I finally said something to some of my peers who post endlessly about this guy and it went better than I thought it was going to go. I invited him to come on the podcast but he hasn’t responded to the message which I’m kind of relieved to tell you the truth but I’m also bummed. I think he would be an interesting fella to talk to. Anyway, I’m still happy to have him on if he wants to chat (if you’re reading this). Also, we talk about smokable Medical Marijuana on it’s way to being legalized in Florida. Isn’t it just time to end the prohibition on it once and for all though. I know, I know, baby steps…

#HMB 260 - Midterm Madness & Chasing Dumb Dreams
The Midterm 2018 elections came and went…uh…are still coming, everywhere, all over everything so watch your eyes. The D team took control back of the House of Representatives. Nancy Pelosi promised a tone down of the rhetoric when “they win” but so far, it’s as bad as ever. Florida, of course, unable to be normal for anything is in the news. Three of the elections were so close that they are in a recount. Matt Caldwell was declared the winner of the Agriculture Commissioner but has since been overtaken by Nikki Fried. Rob…Ron? Desantos? Him. He is the new Governor! Oh, uh, yea, that one is also probably headed to a recount. Of course, Rick Scott, who spent over 20 million dollars of his own money to get a job that pays $174,000 a year won his race with Bill “I’m not wearing a Halloween costume, that’s my face” Nelson. Except no, that one in is in a recount too and he’s suing Broward County over possible election fraud.
This isn’t the first time Dr. Brenda Snipes has had election drama. In May, a judge ruled she illegally destroyed ballots. Somehow, she still has her job. Of course, the D’s are just saying they want all the ballots counted, that’s it, nothing more to see here but you can’t blame the R’s for being suspicious of just finding all these ballots just laying around. It’s sketchy, that’s all I’m saying and if you don’t think so, you’re an ideologue, plain and simple. So we’ll see what happens, no matter what happens you can be sure that we will be the one’s to pay the price.

Whatever his name is and Andrew “Bring It Home” Gillum who had some problems with the FBI because he’s black and only because he’s black and nothing else so don’t pay attention to anything like that. It’s working, because GREAT NEWS! Supporters of his couldn’t care any less! HOORAY! I dunno, personally I don’t really care either. You have to do some palm greasing in politics and business. It’s just the way it works, it ain’t right but it is.
